Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Demi Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while contributing to our innovative and customer-focused approach to cuisine.

  • Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality dish preparation and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff to create and execute menu items
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, showcasing creativity and culinary expertise
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational improvements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies for your section
  • Adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure during busy service periods

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a dynamic kitchen team
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in the field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles and current health and safety regulations
  • Creativity and passion for developing innovative dishes while maintaining brand standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in food presentation and quality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
  • Willingness to embrace new ideas and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
