Company Description

We are looking for a Cultural Marketing Manager to join Ennismore’s global collective, leading cultural connections, activations, content and guest experience for Roswyn, A Morgans Originals Hotel in Mumbai. This is an exciting new position within Ennismore’s growing portfolio of lifestyle brands, representing the first Morgans Originals hotel in India.  

Based in Mumbai, the Cultural Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and lead the planning and roll out of marketing strategies and partnerships for the 109-key hotel and its two destination restaurants.  

The role will work incredibly closely with property Leaders, F&B, operations and entertainment teams to launch the brand in market, ensure a seamless roll out of the creative identity across all touchpoints of the guest experience, be the guardian of our brand standards and values throughout the hotel, restaurants and bars and be always-on, coming up with creative partnerships, activities and events that keep our guests happy, reviews positive and return visitors high while generally bringing the brand to life.  


Job Description

What you’ll do… 

  • Play a strategic role in launching the Roswyn brand in a new market, including owning the cultural components of opening plans to ensure a memorable hotel debut in Mumbai.  

  • Support the Director of Marketing to build strategic commercial marketing and guest experiences plans that will deliver against financial targets and result in positive reviews and PR among KOLs.  

  • Serve as a cultural connector to the local Mumbai market, Maharashtra region and Indian lifestyle community by procuring partnerships, creating programming, and developing community touchpoints and activations.  

  • Assist the Director of Marketing to develop the Roswyn opening plan + provide strong guidance on cultural and brand objectives - with a keen eye on consumer trends and audience insights to ensure our DNA is clear but our ideas and plans continue to evolve.  

  • Be the guardian for all brand standards across the guest experience on the property. 

  • Oversee the creation of social and digital content that will drive local property hotel and restaurant channels as well as optimised content for websites, digital marketing campaigns and sales collateral, all with a view to best sell the brands and properties to the relevant audiences. 

  • Own social media strategy for the hotel and restaurants, including developing assets, maintaining posting schedules and managing social content creators with a social media agency. 

  • Support the Director of Marketing in overseeing PR agencies by supporting on activations + content, as well as hosting press and KOLs to ensure a full brand experience. 

  • Work closely with the regional Digital Marketing teams using insights and data to help build the best campaigns that will be creative and effective commercially 

  • Support the global VPs of Brand Marketing to create and execute collaborations with partners and talent that reinforce our brand positioning, give us new stories to tell and let us reach new audiences as we look to establish both new brand identities.   


Qualifications

What we’re looking for… 

 

  • An experienced cultural marketer with a flair for interesting partnerships, creative ideas, content creation and how to connect with consumers across a range of touchpoints.  

  • Someone with a full roster of tastemaker connections in Mumbai and the region – you have your finger on the pulse and know how to build meaningful creative alliances  

  • Someone who can chat confidently with a revenue team one minute, and a digital team the next, can have amazing catch ups with legal over a contract but also write a creative brief for a design team 

  • Someone with an eye for detail – you’re going to have to love reading copy and creating captions for social media to ensure it’s always on brand but also, it’s the best it can be 

  • Ability to inspire PR, content and social media teams and KOLs with confidence 

  • You know what makes a great campaign and what will capture someone’s attention and you are used to working with brand partners ensuring all parties get something great out of the activations 

  • You are kind and personable and when you work with all teams you are respectful, collaborative, constructive and supportive. 

  • Someone proactive and able to work independently but likes being sociable & collaborative too 

  • Someone who loves to think strategically but also has a creative eye for detail 

  • A great communicator with stakeholders across a business at any level
