As the first and last touchpoint of our guests' journey, you will embody the essence of French art de vivre, creating a seamless and sophisticated experience from arrival to departure. With grace and intuition, you will anticipate needs, curate personalized recommendations, and ensure every moment is effortlessly magnifique.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and providing a warm, professional first point of contact
- Valet parking guest vehicles with care
- Offering personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, attractions, and transportation
- Assisting Front Office with arrivals and departures
- Coordinating transportation services such as taxis, shuttles, or private drivers
- Handling guest requests, special arrangements, and unique needs promptly
- Managing luggage assistance or storage when needed
- Providing directions, maps, and local area information
- Communicating guest needs to other hotel departments to ensure seamless service
This role is Part Time (Minimum 8 hours per week) - Must hold full NZ working rights.
- Focused personality is essential; customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Full NZ Driver's license and able to drive both manual and auto
- Ability to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Previous similar experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of Wellington sights and events
- Able to take Initiative and adapt to changing conditions
- You will need to hold working rights for New Zealand
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Previous experience in five star luxury environment preferred, but not essential
