Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients and basic dishes as per menu specifications.
  • Cooking Support: Help senior chefs in cooking and plating dishes.
  • Kitchen Hygiene: Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Stock Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of ingredients.
  • Quality Control: Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards to maintain consistency.
  • Compliance: Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

Skills Required:

  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent training.
  • Previous kitchen experience as a Commis 3 or similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards in food preparation.
