Cluster Senior Director of Sales

An oasis immersed in well-being and nature, Raffles Sentosa Singapore is the first all-villa property in Singapore. Located on a clifftop, the new resort on Sentosa Island features 62 contemporary private pool villas surrounded by tropical gardens and views over the South China Sea.
Ranging from 230 square metres in size, each villa is a sanctuary for extended stays. As part of Raffles’ legendary welcome, guests will experience signature markers enlivened by the famous Raffles Butlers and a sustainably created Sentosa Sling. There will be five dining establishments, a spa offering next-generation wellness and a grand ballroom.
The Cluster Senior Director of Sales is a strategic and results-driven commercial leader responsible for driving top-line performance and market leadership for both Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa. This role leads the Sales organisation across both luxury and lifestyle segments, shaping and executing a comprehensive revenue growth strategy across Luxury Consortia, Leisure, Corporate & MICE.
As a key member and Head of Department, the role partners closely with Revenue, Catering & Events, Marketing, Operations and Finance, to deliver sustainable growth, elevate brand positioning, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
What you will be DOING:
- Commercial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a fully integrated cluster sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives, brand positioning, and market opportunities.
- Drive sustainable top-line growth, market share expansion, and profitability across both properties.
- Translate business goals into clear commercial action plans with measurable KPIs and accountability frameworks.
- Sales Performance & Market Development
- Own total sales performance across:
- Luxury Consortia
- Leisure
- Corporate
- MICE
- Identify new demand generators, emerging markets, and strategic partnerships to diversify and strengthen revenue streams.
- Lead high-level negotiations with key accounts, global partners, consortia, and luxury agencies.
- Ensure optimal segmentation, pricing alignment, and channel strategy in partnership with Revenue Management.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Provide inspirational leadership to the cluster Sales organisation, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top commercial talent with clear succession planning.
- Set performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and build strong accountability across the team.
- Promote collaboration and best-practice sharing between both properties.
4. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Set, monitor, and achieve annual revenue goals for the Luxury consortia segment.
- Track production of all consortia accounts and provide regular reporting and analysis to management.
- Monitor ROI of consortia program participation and adjust strategy accordingly.
5. Brand, Experience & Relationship Management
- Serve as senior Sales ambassador for both Raffles and Sofitel brands in the marketplace.
- Strengthen relationships with luxury travel advisors, corporate leaders, event planners, and key influencers.
- Ensure every sales engagement reflects the distinct brand DNA, service philosophy, and guest promise of each brand.
- Support major client engagements, site inspections, and high-profile events.
- In conjunction with the Cluster Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales, represent Raffles Sentosa at international luxury trade shows, consortia events, and networking functions (e.g., Virtuoso Travel Week, ILTM, Signature Travel Network, etc.).
- Organise and host familiarisation trips (FAMs) and client events to showcase the property.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Cluster Director of Commercial & Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
- Provide commercial insight and leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycles.
- Drive innovation across distribution, partnerships, and guest acquisition channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive senior sales leadership experience within luxury or premium hospitality.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIRED
- Proven track record of delivering strong revenue growth and market leadership.
- Experience managing multi-property or cluster portfolios highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of luxury travel, mice, global distribution, and strategic account management.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
