Job Description

You will take the lead on the Rixos Radamis complex financial strategy, operational performance, financial reporting, optimizing internal controls, team management & development, capital expenditure review & developing productive relationships with 3rd parties. The role will work closely with the Cluster Managing Director, cross functional Executive Team, Regional Office and Owning Company to drive the performance of the complex.

The Cluster Director of Finance will lead the Finance teams across the complex, ensuring alignment with brand standards, corporate policies, and local regulatory requirements.

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and implement cluster-wide financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide proactive financial analysis and recommendations to the Cluster Managing Director and Executive Committee.
  • Drive revenue optimization, cost control, and profitability enhancement initiatives.
  • Support long-term business planning, investment evaluation, and capital expenditure projects.

2. Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the complex.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting in accordance with corporate and brand standards.
  • Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis with corrective action plans.
  • Present financial results to ownership and corporate stakeholders.

3. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with Egypt's statutory requirements, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Ensure adherence to local employment laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll controls, and credit management.
  • Ensure appropriate financial risk management practices are in place.

5. Operational & Commercial Support

  • Partner with operational leaders to analyze departmental performance and cost structures.
  • Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, procurement controls, and supplier management.
  • Review contracts and commercial agreements to mitigate financial risk.

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance teams across the complex.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and succession planning for the department.
  • Foster strong cross-department collaboration.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in all-inclusive resort operations is a strong advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of Egyptian financial regulations, taxation, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems (e.g., SunSystems, Opera, or similar).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Proficient in financial software (e.g., Sun Systems, Opera, Micros, Excel, etc.).
  • A native Arabic speaker with fluency in the English language is a must.
