Job Description

As a Club Millesime Butler, you’ll play an essential role in delivering seamless, luxurious service that delights every guest. From presenting exquisite dishes to anticipating guest needs, you’ll help create memorable dining moments that reflect our commitment to five-star hospitality and culinary excellence.

  • Be available to personally assist guests and respond promptly to their requirements in line with Sofitel Luxury service expectations.
  • Ensure personalised, efficient, luxury service is provided to all guests.
  • Embrace the service culture of Butler service.
  • To provide warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests.
  • Work cohesively as a team member.
  • Report to the supervisor at all times during the rostered shift and complete all duties assigned by the supervisors and team leaders.
  • To initiate contact with hotel guests to offer individual services and to ensure guest satisfaction. ·
  • Liaise with Chef/Kitchen brigade to ensure service times are adhered to.
  • Ensure all Food & Beverage is served according to Club Millesime standards and exceeds the expectations of our guests.
  • Ensure the presentation of Food & Beverage within Club Millesime is of a high, luxury service standard.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all menus and wine lists in order to advise and make recommendations to guests.
  • Ensure you have a good understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
  • Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all mis-en-place is completed prior to guests’ arriving.
  • Carry out any additional duties as requested by the Club Millesime Manager and designated Club Millesime leaders.
  • Be available to personally assist guests and respond promptly to their requirements in line with Sofitel Luxury service expectations.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every guest experience is flawless.
  • Previous experience in a similar high-end or fine dining environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards is preferred, but not essential. 
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and anticipate their needs.
  • Consistently professional in appearance and demeanor, proudly representing the Sofitel brand at all times.
  • Possession of a current and valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
