Job Description

Operation & Maintenance

  • Ensure all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical, operate at optimal efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
  • Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests while maintaining minimal disruption to services.
  • Oversee repairs, upgrades, and daily operational checks of hotel facilities.

Safety, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Maintain compliance with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and safety drills in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Drive the hotel’s sustainability initiatives, including energy and water conservation programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of compliance records, inspections, and certifications.

Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Prepare and manage the annual engineering budget, including capital expenditure planning.
  • Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for equipment and services

Project Management

  • Lead engineering projects, renovations, and refurbishments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute capital projects aligned with the hotel’s long-term strategy.
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Set clear performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching to team members.
  • Ensure proper staffing and training to support operational needs.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with other department heads to support operational needs and special projects.
  • Submit regular reports on maintenance activities, energy management, and project progress to the General Manager.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to the hotel’s strategic planning initiatives.



 


Qualifications

  • A minimum 3 years in  the similar role, preferable in the a luxury 5* hotel/ resort.
  • Strong preventive maintenance plan, time management, problem solving skill and technologically savvy.
  • Have the experience in project or renovation management will be advantage.
  • Highly motivated, passionate, energetic with excellent interpersonal skill.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and computer literacy skills.
  • Position applicable for Indonesian nationality only and preferably Bali domicile.
