Job Description

We’re on the hunt for a talented Chef de Partie with a strong a la carte background to join our exceptional kitchen team. In this role, you’ll craft top-quality dishes, contribute to exciting menu development, and oversee kitchen operations, all while playing an important part in ensuring our guests enjoy a remarkable dining experience. You’ll mentor junior staff, maintain food safety standards, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare outstanding dishes across various kitchen sections, including a la carte, buffet, larder, mise-en-place, room service, and banquets
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table by helping develop new menu items that elevate the guest dining experience
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, offering training and support to foster their growth
  • Apply a range of cooking techniques to deliver consistently exceptional dishes
  • Ensure the kitchen remains spotless, organized, and compliant with food safety standards at all times
  • Encourage open communication and collaboration within the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Trade qualifications and prior experience in the hotel industry (preferred)
  • Extensive experience working with a la carte service
  • Solid understanding of food safety requirements
  • A service-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and the ability to embrace change and adapt quickly
