We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Longfield, United Kingdom at the Iconic Brands Hatch Race Circuit. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
- Lead and supervise a section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient workflow
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and development
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies and ingredients
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste
- Ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service hours
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss menu improvements and operational efficiencies
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
- Previous culinary experience, including prior work as a Chef de Partie
- Demonstrated proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and presentation skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Proven commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Proficiency in food cost control and inventory management
- Customer-focused approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences
