Job Description

To ensure the smooth conduct of the shift through customer-focused service delivery. To assist management in running the boutique while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, accurate inventories, increase in sales and adherence to consistent standards, through proper planning and organization of operation and administration.

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage & oversee overall boutique operation to maintain service standards
  • Control the boutique’ budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency & meet financial objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances & initiating corrective actions.
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
  • Maintain daily inventory and ensure items are in stock & to order in time.
  • Make daily opening & closing of boutique shop with stock report.
  • Deal with guest issues to maintain the boutique’ reputation
  • Carry out light cleaning and maintenance of boutique & pantry area and safety measures.
  • Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
  • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
  • Manage daily cashiering and determine daily sales
  • Ensure pricing is correct and items are well labeled.
  • Work on creative store displays to ensure increase of sales, plan and oversee in-store promotional event or displays for non-moving items
  • Ensure merchandise is clean, codes are created in system and ready to be displayed as soon it arrives.
  • Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand.
  • Ensure to adhere company’s grooming standards and punctuality
  • Ensure hours of operation are in compliance with local laws.
  • Manage different departments within the store Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel

Qualifications

  • Hotel Management graduate
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years Hotel experience with at least 1 year in a 5 star luxury operation environment

Additional Information

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
  • Experienced in all aspects of restaurants service
  • Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times 
  • Excellent leader and trainer with solid motivational and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to deal with diverse staff
