Job Description

Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a friendly, customer-focused individual to create exceptional first and lasting impressions for our guests. As a Bellman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive warm, attentive service from the moment they arrive until their departure.

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor upon their arrival
  • Assist guests with luggage handling during check-in and check-out processes
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel amenities and services
  • Offer knowledgeable recommendations about local attractions, dining options, and transportation in Dubai
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring luggage carts are always available and in good condition
  • Assist with valet parking services when required
  • Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out experiences
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, services, and current events to address guest questions accurately
  • Assist with special requests or errands to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Ensure proper tagging and secure storage of guest luggage
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall hotel operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bellman or in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Strong physical fitness to handle luggage and stand for extended periods
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is a plus
  • Professional appearance with meticulous attention to personal grooming and uniform standards
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and helpful attitude
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai's attractions, dining scene, and local services
  • Valid UAE driver's license for potential valet parking duties
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service
  • Basic computer skills for managing guest requests and communication with other departments
