Job Description

As a Bell Desk Ambassador of Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and assistance with their luggage and transportation needs. You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by delivering warm welcomes and efficient service from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Arrival and Departure:

    • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm welcome and assist with luggage handling.
    • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and services.
    • Bid farewell to departing guests, assisting with luggage and transportation arrangements.
  2. Luggage Handling and Storage:

    • Safely transport guest luggage to and from rooms, ensuring proper handling and storage.
    • Maintain accurate records of stored luggage and ensure security protocols are followed.
  3. Concierge Services:

    • Provide information and recommendations about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options.
    • Arrange transportation services such as taxis, airport transfers, and car rentals for guests.
  4. Safety and Security:

    • Monitor and ensure the security of guest belongings during transportation and storage.
    • Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
  5. Communication and Coordination:

    • Liaise with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to fulfill guest requests promptly.
    • Maintain effective communication with colleagues to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and transportation options is an advantage.

  • Oral and written fluency in English
