Barista / Deli Attendant

Deli Attendant / Barista

As a Deli Attendant / Barista, your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding Food & Beverage offerings makes guests to our Portobello outlet feel unique and valued.

This is a full-time, seasonal position, beginning in June 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay: $18.80 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $23.45.

Job Duties Include:

• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way with expert knowledge of all ingredients, etc.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and maintenance of deli, take-out window and seating area
• Responsible for making hot beverages and ensuring consistent quality is upheld
• Create specialty coffees
• Replenish bakery items as required in a timely manner

• Previous barista and/or deli experience in a high volume environment is required
• Must hold a Serving it Right Certificate
• Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
