Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager (Front Office) to join our professional and dynamic team. In this key role, you will support the management of daily operations for Front Office, Concierge, Communications, and Night Audit functions. Your focus will be on ensuring guest satisfaction, team motivation, and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full utilization and accuracy of the Front Office system, producing operational reports as required.
  • Supervise guest arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless room allocation and check-in/out processes with a guest-centric approach.
  • Assist in preparing Front Office monthly reports, including key performance metrics, strategies, and forecasts.
  • Offer leadership and guidance to employees whilst on shift
  • Monitor employee training
  • Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues

Qualifications

  • An ability to “sparkle” our guests and your natural bright and bubbly customer service style is what sets you apart from the rest
  • Have the necessary skills and training for complaint handling 
  • You are able to manage your time and can handle juggling numerous tasks at once but still able to follow procedure and maintain a high awareness of security
  • You have an outcome driven approach to performance and results
  • You have experience in Opera Cloud, Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • First Aid Certificate and NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
