We are seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to assist in leading the Front Office Team, empowering Heartists, collaborating with operations, creating memorable guest experiences, and driving key performance outcomes.


Job Description

As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Front Office Manager in leading Sydney’s largest Accor midscale hotel Front Office teams - including Reception, Guest Experience, Porters/Concierge, Switchboard, and Assistant Managers.

  • You’ll help develop and empower our team of Heartists, working collaboratively across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and create memorable moments that reflect our brand values.
  • Support the Front Office Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
  • Provide outstanding guest service, proactively resolving issues with care and professionalism.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of front office procedures and service standards.
  • Partner with the Front Office Manager on loyalty recruitment, projects, and guest experience initiatives across the hotel.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for both guests and team members, ensuring every interaction is a peak moment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager in a medium-large sized property, demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to train, mentor, and empower a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel property management systems, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and the flexibility to work across various shifts.
  • RSA and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) to ensure a safe and professional environment for both guests and team members.
