Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to oversee our Restaurants, Bars, Conferencing, In-Room Dining, and Pool Bar. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, this leadership role is perfect for a passionate hospitality professional ready to drive excellence in service, revenue, and guest experience.

Your Opportunity:

• Oversee daily operations across all Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service and premium guest experiences.
• Train, develop, and inspire the Food and Beverage team to uphold Sofitel’s luxury brand standards.
• Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, upselling, and exceptional service delivery.
• Elevate the dining experience, ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
• Work closely with the Culinary, Events, and Front Office teams to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Manage cost controls, and forecasting to optimise performance.
• Champion a culture of excellence, engagement, and teamwork.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven leadership experience in luxury hotel Food and Beverage operations.
• A passion for elevating guest experiences and a deep understanding of hospitality trends.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience driving revenue.
• The ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant, bar, and banquet operations, with a hands-on approach to service.
• Experience training teams on brand standards, service excellence, and guest engagement.
