Job Description

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Payable Manager to join our finance team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee all accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices while maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our luxury hospitality properties through meticulous financial management and process optimization.

  • Manage and oversee all accounts payable functions, including invoice receipt, verification, processing, and payment
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi Arabia financial regulations
  • Process invoices and payments efficiently while adhering to approval workflows and authorization limits
  • Develop and implement accounts payable procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency
  • Analyze and monitor accounts payable aging reports to optimize cash flow management
  • Coordinate with vendors to address billing inquiries, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment terms
  • Prepare accurate and detailed financial reports and reconciliations for management review
  • Train and supervise accounts payable staff, providing guidance on processes and compliance requirements
  • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to maintain organized and accessible financial records
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the overall financial objectives of the organization

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in accounts payable management or similar accounting role
  • Proven experience managing accounts payable operations in a hospitality or hotel environment
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
  • Strong expertise in invoice processing, vendor management, and financial reconciliation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience with multi-currency transactions and international vendor management
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabia financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proven leadership capability with experience supervising accounting staff
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong ethical standards and integrity
