As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional to join our Finance team as a "Cost Controller Supervisor". In this role, you will oversee daily cost control operations, monitor inventory and purchasing activities, ensure the accuracy of cost reporting, and support the business with timely financial insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.


Job Description

  • Supervise daily cost control operations across all hotel departments.
  • Monitor inventory movements, stock counts, and cost of sales to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review purchasing, receiving, and store procedures to maintain effective cost controls.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports and analyze variances.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and recipe costing for food and beverage operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and support month-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Culinary, and Operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to operational costs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Cost Control team to maintain high performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Cost Control within the hospitality industry, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, food and beverage costing, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP and hotel management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
