We are looking for a ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER.
STARTING: as soon as possible | Location: MARIANSKE LAZNE
Swissôtel Marianske Lazne brings a top-notch hotel concept to the Czech Republic, combining Swiss precision with exceptional hospitality. We are proud that our hotel is the first in the Czech Republic under the prestigious Swissôtel brand. We are looking for an experienced and organizationally skilled ROOMS DIVISION MANAGER to lead the Front office team and supervise the Housekeeping operations organized by the Executive Housekeeper.
In October, we are opening a premium hotel with 125 rooms and suites. The hotel will also include the 105 Dining Lounge, The Bohemian Bar, our SwissCafé and the rooftop terrace "Pod Oblaky" Lifestyle Lounge. In addition, the hotel will have three conference rooms and a meeting room. Another highlight of the hotel will be the Pürovel Spa & Sport, which combines Swiss precision with the spa tradition of Marianske Lazne. This unique opportunity combines Swissôtel's international reputation with the history of the spa town.
We are looking for a leader who will ensure the smooth running of the hotel's accommodation area, set high service standards and be a key link in ensuring guest satisfaction.
What will you do?
- Ensure smooth operation of the Front office department and oversee daily operations of housekeeping.
- Prepare budgets, monthly forecasts month end comments and control costs together with the Executive Housekeeper.
- Responsible for the rooms department budget and plan actions to achieve hotel goals.
- Ensure high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and effectively.
- Collaborate with the technical department on room and public area maintenance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training.
- Implement and supervise Swissôtel standards.
- Implement and follow up on up sell and cross sell activities.
- Analyse guest feedback and suggest improvements.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new employees.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments.
- Responsible to achieve the ALL target set by SVPO.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Ideal candidate:
- You have a university degree in hospitality, management or a related field
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- You speak Czech and English, additionally German is considered as a plus
- You are an excellent organizer and communicator
- You have experience in team management and customer orientation
- You have strong analytical and financial skills
- You are flexible and ready to lead by example
- You have experience with OPERA Cloud solution
