Restaurant Le Poirier is located in a unique hotel concept Handwritten Collection in Burgh-Haamstede.

Our restaurant offers an informal and accessible atmosphere, with a changing menu that moves with the seasons. We stand for genuine hospitality and a ‘no-nonsense’ cooking style, cooking as sustainably as possible according to the No-Waste principle and using products from Dutch soil as much as possible.

Led by young, passionate chef Terence van Lenten, our kitchen team received an award from Gault&Millau in February 2024.

The restaurant has a seating capacity of 50 and is open six days a week for both lunch and dinner.


Job Description

We are looking for a positive, welcoming and service-oriented Dutch speaking restaurant manager for our beautiful restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of Restaurant Le Poirier, the bar, breakfast and terrace. You will have plenty of room to implement your own ideas and take initiative.

The focus for the coming period will be on successfully opening the restaurant, training the team, implementing and optimising daily processes and making the food & beverage department commercially successful. You will work closely with the head chef and fall directly under the hotel manager.
