- The Night Manager will manage the Night Team to deliver performance in compliance with targets and objectives
- Evaluate guest satisfaction and put measures in place to meet department quality targets and objectives
- Ensure all Front of House areas of responsibility are run effectively in line with standards and that the department is adequately resourced in line with business requirements
- Be the Manager on Duty during the night shift
- Handle complaints to the guest’s satisfaction whilst ensuring great communication / feedback is delivered to the relevant manager in order to action
- Support the bar operation, as and when required
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to in line with company standards and financial audits
- Be confident in the ability to co-ordinate staff and guests in hotel evacuation and Fire safety
- Responsible for the Night Audits and closing the day’s business
- Carry out a comprehensive hand over to early Duty Manager before end of shift
- Maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas
- Health and Safety management – complying with company procedures and Safety Risk Audits
- Keep staff / work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management observe all requirements under health and safety legislation
