We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Services Associate (GSA) - Housekeeping to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a GSA - Housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests, ensuring their stay is exceptional from check-in to check-out.
- Maintain impeccable housekeeping standards in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and executive offices
- Ensure the proper usage and security of departmental master keys and other keys to safeguard guest and hotel property
- Consistently achieve and maintain cleanliness standards in assigned guest rooms to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction
- Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers at all times
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces efficiently and thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors
- Assist with special requests from guests and address their concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols as per hotel standards and local regulations
- Hotel Management Degree or Diploma (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations (preferred)
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and procedures
