We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in the beautiful regency of Payangan, Ubud, Indonesia. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining high standards of customer service across all departments.
- Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments are functioning efficiently and cohesively
- Manage and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures across all areas of the hotel
- Monitor and maintain safety and security protocols
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Manage staff schedules and allocate resources effectively
- Assist in training and developing team members
- Respond to and manage emergency situations as part of the first response team
- Prepare and submit daily reports on hotel operations, occupancy, and any significant incidents
- Proven experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in hotel management software and systems
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Professional appearance and good grooming standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
