Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Revenue Management to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies across all revenue streams, ensuring maximum profitability and sustainable growth for our organization.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across all revenue streams
  • Lead and mentor the revenue management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors to inform pricing and distribution strategies
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue management initiatives with overall business objectives
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of revenue management systems and tools
  • Produce accurate forecasts and reports to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation
  • Chair regular revenue management meetings to ensure alignment and accountability across departments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ownership groups and external partners
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize distribution channels and online presence to maximize revenue
  • Drive innovation in revenue management practices, staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging new technologies
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process and prepare long-range financial projections
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies while maximizing revenue opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Revenue Management within the hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., IDeaS G3 RMS, Opera PMS) and data analysis tools
  • In-depth knowledge of pricing strategies, yield management, and distribution channels
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with online marketing and e-commerce strategies in the hospitality sector (preferred)
