Job Description

  • Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll
  • Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports
  • Direct the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Implement and monitor control systems to prevent fraud and manage resources
  • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
  • Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems
  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits
  • Assist in the management of the department budget and forecasts

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an assistant director of finance, finance manager in luxury hotel
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
