We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit & Income Supervisor to join our team in İstanbul, Türkiye. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the credit analysis and income verification processes, ensuring accurate risk assessment and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor a team of credit analysts and income verification specialists
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance credit risk assessment and income verification processes
- Analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions on credit applications
- Oversee the review and validation of income documentation for various loan products
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline credit and income verification workflows
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk management
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on credit portfolio performance and income verification metrics
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the credit approval and income verification processes
- Contribute to the development and refinement of credit policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis or income verification, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and income verification processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams in a financial setting
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office suite
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and credit policies
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisive and sound judgments in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with the Turkish financial services industry and local regulations is a mandatory
