Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation Excellence: Execute precise food preparation techniques, ensuring ingredients are meticulously prepared to contribute to the creation of outstanding dishes.
- Cooking Mastery: Demonstrate proficiency in cooking techniques, actively participating in the crafting of high-quality and visually appealing culinary creations.
- Station Ownership: Manage a designated kitchen station, taking ownership of its organization, cleanliness, and efficiency to maintain smooth operations.
- Quality Assurance Leader: Take the lead in quality control measures, actively participating in tastings, evaluations, and inspections to maintain the highest culinary standards.
- Menu Innovation Contributor: Contribute creative ideas and insights to menu development, bringing innovation and diversity to the culinary offerings.
- Mentorship and Training: Share knowledge and skills with junior kitchen staff, actively participating in their training and development.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Strictly adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring a hygienic and safe working environment.
- Culinary Education: Completed culinary education from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Commis 1, preferably in a pre-opening or upscale hotel setting.
- Skills: Proficient in cooking techniques, demonstrating precision, creativity, and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work harmoniously within the culinary team, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to culinary offerings.
