Job Description

Job Summary:

The Banquet Porter ensures proper set-up and cleanliness of Banquet facilities and maintains proper care of Banquet equipment. They report any discrepancies/damage to any equipment to the Banquet Captain or Manager.

Duties:

  • Must be familiar with all set-up requirements and able to comply with all requests as listed on the Catering orders and floor plans.
  • Cleans up and properly stores all Banquet equipment after each function.
  • Proper maintenance of all Banquet equipment.
  • May be asked to wear a pager.
  • Responsible for all Banquet equipment inventory.
  • Knows, understands and enforces objectives, policies, standards and procedures set forth by the Management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months Banquet Porter experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read floor plans.
  • Ability to interpret Catering function orders.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (50lbs)
  • Honolulu Liquor Card

Additional Information

Salary:

$24.43 - $30.54 per hour
