We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team at Accor Services Poland.  

As the Chief Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our accounting books are kept in a reliable and correct manner, following both Polish tax law and international accounting standards.  

This position will be based at our Accor Support Office in Warsaw, and will manage accounting activities for Poland, Hungary, and Romania. 

What will you do? 

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts 

• Verify the accuracy of postings made by the external accounting service provider 

• Supervise and coordinate the month-end close process 

• Participate in monthly reporting 

• Coordinate and supervise the work in the areas of AP (Accounts Payable Department), AR (Accounts Receivables Department), and GL (General Ledger Department) 

• Coordinate and supervise the Company's tax obligations 

• Coordinate mandatory audits 

Our ideal profile would be: 

• Fluency in English & Polish are mandatory

• Experience in shared services or accounting services 

• Extensive knowledge of accounting, taxes, and finance 

• Skilled in building and enforcing new procedures 

• Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting 

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience 

• Previous experience working in the hotel or hospitality industry would be desirable 

• Goal-oriented with the ability to perform and deliver under pressure 

• Strong communication skills 

• High work ethics and confidentiality
