We are excited to invite applications for the position of Talent & Culture Executive to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road, India. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, fostering employee engagement, and supporting our workforce throughout their journey with us.
- Manage day-to-day HR administration tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS system
- Draft and distribute employee communications, including newsletters and announcements
- Organize and execute employee engagement activities and cultural initiatives
- Provide first-line support for employee queries related to HR matters
- Assist in the recruitment process, including screening applications and coordinating interviews
- Conduct reference checks and manage the online application process for candidates
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including documentation and orientation
- Collaborate with the Finance department to verify and process contractor and vendor invoices
- Prepare payroll inputs and verify salary registers
- Support the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Assist in developing and maintaining performance management processes
- Coordinate with various departments to organize training and development programs
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- MBA in Human Resources or Bachelor's in Hospitality Management (BHM)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and Indian labor laws
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software systems, and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management and documentation
- Experience in event planning and execution
- Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and performance management systems
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion practices
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
- Enthusiasm for creating a positive work culture and supporting employee well-being
