Job Description

We are excited to invite applications for the position of Talent & Culture Executive to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road, India. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, fostering employee engagement, and supporting our workforce throughout their journey with us.

  • Manage day-to-day HR administration tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS system
  • Draft and distribute employee communications, including newsletters and announcements
  • Organize and execute employee engagement activities and cultural initiatives
  • Provide first-line support for employee queries related to HR matters
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including screening applications and coordinating interviews
  • Conduct reference checks and manage the online application process for candidates
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including documentation and orientation
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to verify and process contractor and vendor invoices
  • Prepare payroll inputs and verify salary registers
  • Support the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Assist in developing and maintaining performance management processes
  • Coordinate with various departments to organize training and development programs
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • MBA in Human Resources or Bachelor's in Hospitality Management (BHM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and Indian labor laws
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software systems, and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management and documentation
  • Experience in event planning and execution
  • Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and performance management systems
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion practices
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Enthusiasm for creating a positive work culture and supporting employee well-being
