This fall, we are opening a premium hotel under the Swissôtel brand with 125 rooms and suites. The hotel will also feature the 105 Dining Lounge, The Bohemian Bar, our Swiss Café, and the “Pod Oblaky” Lifestyle Lounge rooftop terrace. In addition, the hotel will have three meeting rooms and a Boardroom. Another highlight of the hotel will be the Pürovel Spa & Sport, which combines Swiss precision with the spa tradition of Mariánské Lázně. This unique opportunity combines the international reputation of Swissôtel with the history of the spa town.
SOUS CHEF (m/f/x)

As a Sous Chef, you will be an essential part of the kitchen team. You’ll help shape the culinary vision of the hotel and ensure every plate leaves the kitchen in perfect condition. In the absence of the Executive Chef, you will take full responsibility for leading the kitchen, organizing shifts, communicating with other departments, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

What’s waiting for you?
- Collaborating with the Head Chef on planning and organizing daily kitchen operations.
- Leading and motivating the team, onboarding new colleagues, and training in fine dining standards.
- Creating seasonal menus, preparing gastronomic events, and ensuring top-level food presentation.
- Managing inventory, placing orders, liaising with suppliers, and participating in stocktakes.
- Overseeing hygiene standards (including HACCP) and food cost control.
- Cooperating closely with the F&B team, organizing banquets and catering services.
- Responding to guest feedback and continuously improving the offering.
Who are we looking for? Our ideal candidate has:
- Education: Vocational training in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in the field, ideally including a leadership position
- Languages: Czech at a communicative level, English is a plus
- Skills: Knowledge of hygiene regulations, modern culinary trends, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset
