We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our TRIBE as we launched our first TRIBE Hotel into the London market in the summer of 2022.

Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts to maximize revenue for the hotel alongside soliciting, negotiating, and contracting corporate events within the hotel's restaurant Feels Like June. This role requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and site tours to showcase the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability for the hotel.
  • Manage existing accounts and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and RFPs promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., revenue management, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to build relationships and promote the hotel.  
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Proactively solicit new event business through various channels, including cold calling, networking, online marketing, and attending industry events.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all event inquiries, providing detailed information about the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Conduct site tours with potential clients, showcasing the hotel's event spaces and amenities.
  • Develop and present creative proposals and contracts that meet client needs and maximize revenue potential.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability for the hotel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

What we look for:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event and or hotel sales within the hospitality industry.  
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.  
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Opera)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
