Retail Shipper Receiver / Sales Associate (seasonal) - Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

We have stores in the most beautiful, picturesque locations in Canada including Quebec City, Banff, Lake Louise and Victoria. Our Distribution Centre and our Canadian Online Webstore is located in Canmore, Alberta. Our primary goal is to cater to the needs of the guests that visit the properties that we are located in and to provide an ongoing memory that they will cherish for years to come.

Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour + commission

What you will be doing:

• Receive incoming shipments ensuring product verified against the packing slip and communicating any defects, breakages or other discrepancies to the Store Manager
• Keep a well-organized and maintained stock room by ensuring that stock is accurately put away, stocking the sales floor as needed and communicating when product is running low
• Assist Store Manager by covering the sales floor as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous retail/warehouse experience an asset
• Demonstrates initiative to achieve goals, should have a self-starter attitude to make those goals a reality.
• Physically fit to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, maintain appearance of the Store and stock room, must be able to lift 50lbs and climb stairs. This is a very physically demanding position.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and our Distribution Centre.
