Job Description

  • Lead, train, and supervise the pastry team for high performance.
  • Design seasonal, innovative pastry menus for all dining outlets and events.
  • Stay updated on pastry trends and introduce fresh ideas.
  • Customize menus for VIP services, weddings, and special events.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in storage and handling.
  • Conduct regular quality checks across pastry production.
  • Manage budget and control food costs efficiently.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and procurement of ingredients and tools.
  • Analyze sales and forecast demand to optimize production.
  • Develop training programs to enhance team skills.
  • Handle guest feedback and ensure exceptional pastry experiences.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in pastry techniques, chocolate work, sugar art, and bakery production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, with a degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
  • Efficient, organized, and budget-conscious.
  • Knowledgeable in food safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent communicator and team collaborator.
