Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Team Member to join our facility management team in London, United Kingdom. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our premises, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our staff and visitors.

  • Perform routine inspections of building structures, equipment, and assets to identify maintenance needs
  • Undertake various general maintenance tasks, including painting, minor repairs, and basic plumbing and electrical work
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Coordinate with and supervise external contractors to ensure work is completed according to service agreements and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols, including fire safety regulations and emergency procedures
  • Contribute to the organization's environmental initiatives by promoting energy conservation and proper waste management
  • Assist in managing inventory and reporting stock levels of maintenance supplies

Qualifications

  • Experience is similar role is preferred
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively in addressing maintenance challenges
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
