The Hoxton, Brussels is our first hotel in Belgium, occupying a brutalist-style tower building and the former European headquarters of IBM. It features 198 rooms of various sizes, a lofty double-height lobby, a bar, a coffee bar, a Peruvian-inspired restaurant - Cantina Valentina, a rooftop bar – TOPE - that offers stunning views across the city. The Apartment & The Lofts, our unique meetings & events concept.

What you'll do...

• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist in preparing the VAT return by verifying and recording purchase invoices.

• Update the purchase invoice schedule daily to ensure that invoices are paid on time.

• Reconcile all banking transactions by matching them to the correct accounts.

• Record daily financial transactions, including  receipts and discounts.

• Reconcile credit card and online payment transactions.

• Update client invoices on a daily basis and ensure timely payments..

• Lead one project during the internship period (such as creating an SOP or developing a new process to improve efficiency).

• Provide support to the accountant with various additional tasks as needed.
