Our esteemed hotel is centrally located in Cairns City. Our property features 324 elegantly appointed rooms, 18 versatile meeting spaces, Coco’s Kitchen and Bar, as well as in-room dining services. We are seeking an enthusiastic houseperson with a proactive and positive approach to play a key role in our housekeeping team, ensuring a seamless guest experience and supporting our operational excellence.


Job Description

Delivering a 5-Star Experience Every Step of the Way

Our Housekeeping department is the heart of our hotel's operations, with Housepersons playing a pivotal role. As a Houseperson, you will:

  • Assist the team by delivering linen, chemicals, and laundry throughout the property.
  • Manage heavy lifting tasks as required.
  • Fulfill guest requests by delivering items to rooms.
  • Uphold impeccable standards of property presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure corridors remain clear of trays, linen trolleys, and cages.
  • Contribute to an exceptional guest experience while supporting seamless hotel operations.
  • Ensure pantries and storage rooms are cleaned and organised daily.
  • Dispose of garbage bins and refresh with clean ones on a daily basis.

  • Possess a positive, friendly, and guest-focused attitude
  • Are physically fit and comfortable working independently
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and are available to work a seven-day roster, including weekends and holidays.
