We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Food & Beverage Intern to join our dynamic hospitality team in Novotel Dubai Al Barsha. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment while working alongside seasoned professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional service. As an intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our operations and developing a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices and customer-focused service excellence.

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests at all times while maintaining a positive and welcoming demeanor
• Assist with the setup, service, and breakdown of food and beverage areas, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail
• Support team members in serving food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage areas in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Greet guests and interact with them professionally, addressing inquiries and ensuring an exceptional customer experience
• Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and restocking of supplies while maintaining accurate records
• Observe and learn standard operating procedures and best practices from experienced staff members
• Participate actively in team meetings, contribute ideas for service improvement, and demonstrate a collaborative spirit
• Support daily operations as needed and adapt flexibly to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in hospitality, culinary, or related program)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and team members
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and guest satisfaction
• Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward learning
• Basic numeracy skills for inventory management and stock rotation tasks
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, or willingness to obtain Food Handler Certification
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from supervisors
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and operational needs
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles (preferred)
• Familiarity with food and beverage service standards and procedures (preferred)
• Understanding of health and safety protocols in food service environments (preferred)
