Job Description

Step into a pivotal role as Finance Officer in a part-time position, where you’ll manage Accounts Payable while also supporting key areas across our financial operations. This diverse, all-rounder position offers the perfect opportunity to apply your financial expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring our resort’s financial processes run smoothly across the board.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Focus on receiving, processing, and verifying invoices to ensure timely, accurate payments
  • Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle and maintain organized records
  • Reconcile payments and assist with End of Month financial procedures
  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve payment, invoicing, or payroll issues
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial processes and controls

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field, or relevant experience in Accounting
  • Previous hotel industry experience (a plus, but not essential!) to enhance your understanding of our dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting procedures, with advanced knowledge of Excel and financial systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial transactions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver outstanding service and build lasting relationships across teams
