The Role

We are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join our team in Jakarta, reporting to the Director of Finance based in India. This role will oversee the financial management and control of our operations, providing strategic finance support to both the Finance and Operations teams to enable effective decision-making and ensure compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial control function, ensuring robust financial governance, internal controls, and adherence to group policies.

• Oversee all compliance obligations, including employee entitlements, taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple legal entities in accordance with evolving local and international financial regulations.

• Manage cross-border financial operations in a complex, multi-region business environment, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial practices.

• Drive cost discipline while supporting business growth, aligning financial planning with operational and strategic goals.

• Leading a small finance team and working closely with our shared services team based in India. 

This is a hands-on role suited for a finance professional who thrives in multicultural environment, and is capable of balancing compliance rigour with commercial insight. 

About You

Our ideal candidate will be seasoned Finance professional, with a passion for using their expertise in helping businesses meet their financial goals. Other essential qualities include:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance Manager or similar role

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Based in Jakarta or open to relocating to Jakarta for this role

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

• Work experience with Big 4 or an Accounting firms will highly valued

Additional qualities that are highly regarded (but not required) include experience in the hospitality or loyalty industry.
