Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To work together with the support of colleagues and superiors to create a luxurious and professional F&B experience for our guests. To remain motivated, efficient and guest centric to help the department and the hotel meet goals and objectives. To ensure absolute guest satisfaction and adhere to consistent standards under the supervision and guidance of the Outlet Leaders.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Uphold discipline, grooming standards, and punctuality in line with Raffles and Outlet expectations.

· Demonstrate strong knowledge of LQA standards and ensure consistent compliance throughout service.

· Follow all LQA and Outlet service standards while maintaining maximum efficiency to deliver Service         Excellence.

· Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently describe dishes and provide informed recommendations through continuous learning and training.

· Possess comprehensive understanding of allergens and dietary requirements, strictly following established SOPs.

· Maintain full knowledge of bar operations, including coffee, tea, and cocktails, ensuring high-quality standards of preparation and presentation.

· Support colleagues across all areas of the Outlet as required to ensure seamless guest experiences.

· Adhere strictly to all SOPs and operational processes as instructed by Outlet Leadership.

· Address guests by name whenever possible to deliver personalized service in line with Raffles Service Culture.

· Recognize and acknowledge regular and VIP guests, noting and respecting their preferences.

· Communicate guest preferences to the Outlet Leader/Manager and ensure accurate updates in Opera for in-house guests.

· Conduct regular guest satisfaction checks, professionally handling feedback and escalating concerns where necessary.

· Immediately report any guest complaints, incidents, or operational challenges to Outlet Leadership following escalation procedures.

· Perform all opening, closing, and side duties, completing all required checklists accurately.

· Participate in monthly equipment inventories and report discrepancies promptly.

· Assist in minimizing waste, breakages, and equipment mishandling.

· Liaise with Housekeeping, Stewarding, and Engineering to ensure exceptional cleanliness and maintenance standards.

· Maintain cleanliness of the Outlet following a “clean as you go” philosophy.

· Ensure the Outlet remains clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.

· Demonstrate awareness of Outlet targets and actively contribute through upselling and guest engagement.

· Foster strong team communication through verbal interaction and approved internal communication platforms.

· Maintain knowledge of all Hotel outlets and services to guide guests effectively.

· Complete all departmental paperwork, logs, and reports accurately and within deadlines.

· Attend all required training sessions with enthusiasm and commitment to professional development.

· Maintain a positive, motivated, and professional attitude at all times.

· Handle cash and financial transactions with accuracy, integrity, and adherence to established procedures.

· Assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak operational periods when required.

· Perform any additional duties assigned by Hotel Management.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

· Hospitality Studies is preferable

· Strong reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

· A second foreign language is a plus

 EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of 2 year’s experience within Food & Beverage

· Experience in 5* luxury hospitality
