We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Duty Engineer to join our facilities management team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Duty Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility's systems and equipment.

• Coordinate and collaborate with all departments to maintain seamless operations and maximize productivity
• Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage areas and public spaces
• Conduct regular inspections of fire detection systems, firefighting equipment, electrical systems, and transformers
• Supervise the operation of HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, and other critical equipment
• Ensure proper water levels are maintained in storage tanks
• Implement and follow safety protocols, including the maintenance of fire safety equipment and first aid kits
• Coordinate with other departments for regular servicing and testing of equipment
• Stay updated on technological advancements in surveillance and safety equipment
• Troubleshoot and perform emergency repairs as needed
• Train and motivate team members on safety procedures and efficient resource utilization
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle emergency repairs efficiently
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations in Baghdad, Iraq
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
