Job Description

As a Director of Sales, you will be based on the island and play a pivotal role in promoting and supporting awareness of the Resort. You will provide constant market intelligence, assist in establishing sales and marketing plans to drive results, secure and implement partnership opportunities, and achieve optimal sales performance.

About the role

  • Establish and maintain key partners relationships, negotiate, and close deals to meet sales goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and practices, update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
  • Develop and implement the business plan, identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape specific to the UK, Indian and other assigned markets.
  • Develop and drive sales strategies to ensure the properties, achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Takes initiative in proposing and implementing innovative promotional campaigns to drive business.
  • Undertake advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives, and work with the commercial team for sales budgets.
  • Organize and attend in sales calls, trade shows and other required sales activities to represent the resort.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operational teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Leads and inspires the sales team with clear direction, result driving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Entertain the Familiarization Trip and Media Trip while on the resort.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics, market trends, and competitive activities, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same role in an international luxury resort with proven results.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Solid knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to execute effective sales strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or travel industry, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Flexible to accommodate varying work schedules.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Results-driven and proactive with strong organizational and team management skills.
