Job Description

Cost Controller

As a Heartist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the hotel’s financial performance by ensuring accurate cost control, stock integrity, and compliance with Accor financial standards. This role combines analytical rigor with close operational interaction, supporting informed decision-making across all departments.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor and control all food, beverage, and operating costs in line with budget and forecast

  • Ensure accurate stock control, inventory procedures, and variance analysis

  • Review purchase prices, supplier contracts, and consumption trends

  • Prepare regular cost reports and analysis for Finance Management and Operations

  • Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Operational teams to drive cost efficiency

  • Ensure full compliance with Accor finance policies, audit requirements, and internal controls

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to cost and inventory


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar finance role within hospitality
    (hotel background is a strong advantage; international brand experience preferred)

  • Solid understanding of hotel cost structures, inventory systems, and control procedures

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

  • Hands-on, disciplined, and structured working approach

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operational teams

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and hotel finance systems
  • Proficiency in English is required; full fluency is not mandatory.
