Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis II to join our culinary team. As a Commis II, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and developing your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in the execution of basic cooking techniques under supervision
  • Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
  • Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and kitchen maintenance tasks
  • Support senior chefs in special culinary projects and events
  • Work efficiently under pressure and adapt to peak service demands

 


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a culinary program or certificate is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen, entry-level positions, or internships
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer-focused skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
  • Passion for culinary arts with a willingness to learn and grow in the field
