We are seeking an experienced Cluster Director Marketing, Our Habitas Al Ula and Our Habitas Ras Abrouq to oversee all elements of marketing, public relations and brand programming for our three homes in the region – Our Habitas AlUla and Caravan AlUla by Our Habitas in Saudi Arabia, and Our Habitas Ras Abrouq in Qatar. This is an incredible opportunity in high-growth markets to lead a team of seasoned marketing managers to drive performance for three unique destinations.


Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Create and execute comprehensive annual marketing plans intended to drive property awareness and brand perception to ultimately generate revenue growth within high potential international feeder markets and locally
  • Manage annual marketing budgets, accounting for the development of initiatives to drive business specifically for hotel room sales in addition to F&B outlets, wellness and programing revenue income streams 
  • Engage with Brand Operations and Revenue leaders to establish business goals with measurable KPIs; concept innovative marketing solutions that promote revenue growth during need periods, evaluating metrics and reporting out on results
  • Routinely present marketing performance updates to stakeholders including internal executive committee and hotel ownership
  • Serve as the Our Habitas brand experience champion – ensure all steps of the guest journey from pre-visit, on property and post-visit are aligned with our brand standards and values; ensure all onsite OS&E is brand approved
  • Lead on-property marketing teams to create authentic brand experiences for our guests, including daily activities inspired by our local culture and bi-annual onsite wellness retreats; create relationships with off-property programming partners  
  • Align with Sales team to develop on-brand collateral and assets to communicate brand and property value propositions to important group business audiences
  • In partnership with Revenue Management, develop annual promotional campaign strategy, create new offers supported by marketing campaigns that serve market demand periods and maintain oversight of OTA ad campaigns
  • Collaborate with our global e-Commerce team to establish, maintain and optimize paid media campaigns (search/social) to deliver against business KPIs; review and analyze monthly marketing performance reports
  • Work alongside our global Public Relations lead and global/regional PR agency to promote visibility and positioning of the hotels
  • With support of local marketing managers, ensure all hotel website content is up to date and focus events are properly merchandised; guide global Social Media team on monthly content calendars, and develop strategic annual email calendar
  • Review and approve photographer, influencer and press visits and event requests in collaboration with Public Relations, Brand Marketing and Social Media teams

 


Qualifications

  • 5 of years as a Director Marketing ready for a larger role
  • Strong lifestyle brand experience and is passionate about what is new, next and on-trend
  • Confident presenter of critical information and recommendations to all levels of internal leadership and external stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship builder – confident working with teams and leaders to establish partnerships with external organizations from tourism boards to trusted travel industry vendors
  • Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them
  • Works independently and partners with others to promote an environment of teamwork
  • Multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and have a high-level attention to detail
  • Combines analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution-focused approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English and ideally Arabic, written and spoken.
