Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta features 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded Sky Suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square-meter Grand Ballroom.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our culinary team at our signature Indonesian restaurant. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, precision, and a deep appreciation for Indonesian flavors, elevating traditional and contemporary desserts to a luxury dining standard.
Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plate a wide range of pastry and dessert items with attention to detail and presentation.
- Reimagine traditional Indonesian sweets into modern, elegant desserts for à la carte, tasting menus, and events.
- Supervise and support team members, fostering continuous learning and high performance.
- Maintain the highest quality standards in taste, texture, appearance, and consistency.
- Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Assist with stock rotation, cost control, and inventory of kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with the culinary leadership team on menu development and seasonal offerings.
Your experience and skills include:
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong foundation in pastry arts, with proven ability to execute both classic and innovative techniques.
- Passion for Indonesian culinary heritage and creative flair in modernizing local desserts.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification in pastry or baking preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
