About the job…

As Assistant Manager, you will take the lead in orchestrating the Front Office Team, creating unforgettable guest experiences while maintaining a high level of team energy. Each day in this position promises opportunities where you connect with various departments, coordinate team engagement, oversee staff, expertly manage guest feedback, and swiftly resolve any challenges that arise.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take the helm and guide the hotel's day-to-day operations with expertise

  • Lead the Front Office Team like a mentor, nurturing their growth and skill-building in a supportive atmosphere

  • Collaborate with guests, extending a helping hand to find solutions for any challenges that may arise

  • Contribute to roster planning and preparation

  • Embrace authenticity and let your unique self-shine in every shift

  • Ensure customer/guest and staff needs are met

Qualifications

About you…

Experience:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a Hotel Front Office department.
  • Previous experience using SIHOT, checking in and out guests in a 200+ Hotel, proficiency in using reservation and property management systems desireable
  • A driven problem solver with a creative approach to delivering the ultimate guest experience
  • An outcome driven approach to performance and results, striving to achieve excellence.
  • Proven strong Microsoft office skills and clear communication
  • Committed to driving Loyalty (ALL Livelimitless) and memorable guest experiences
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure, fuelled by epic organisational and time management skills
  • Masterful in the art of both written and spoken communication
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work a flexible rotating 7-day roster including nights, week-ends and public holidays.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to be able to respond to a variety of different work situations
