Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales - Weddings to join our organization in Udaipur, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive sales growth, lead a high-performing team, and establish our brand as a premier wedding services provider in the region. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies while maintaining exceptional customer relationships and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to expand market share in the wedding and events segment
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients, vendors, and corporate partners
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through contract closure and customer onboarding
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy and positioning
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to sales team members to enhance their skill set
  • Manage customer relationships and address escalated concerns to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Customize service offerings based on client needs and market demands
  • Participate in industry events, networking activities, and trade shows to build brand awareness

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Strong knowledge of the wedding, events, or hospitality industry (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales strategy development and execution
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools
  • Excellent negotiation, closing, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts
  • Leadership capabilities with experience in team building, training, and performance management
  • Results-oriented mindset with a competitive drive and motivation to succeed
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business software applications
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required for client meetings and business development
